A FINE LINE BETWEEN DREAM AND PREMONITION

The other night I woke up from a night mare: two famous people had experienced a very gruesome collision on their tour bus, while making their way to my home town...
In the morning I still was able to recall my dream, but didn't think much of it.
It wasn't until the other day, I was going up town shopping with my mom when I saw a billboard advertising that the two famous people I had dreamt about was truly arriving within the month. Unaware that these two individuals were soon to be on tour, it made me nervous!
Could it be possible to dream such a premonition, and if you do dare to believe that your nightmare may be a warning, do you say anything?
Will people look down upon you(thinking you to be a freak), or worse, will they blame you for the incident if it truly were to occur?
I would love to hear your opinions on the matter.
Would you expose yourself to the world on the mere thought that maybe your nightmare could be plausible?
or
Would you sit in silence, wondering if it was just a dream, that maybe you saw, subconsciously that those two people were coming to town... and perhaps your imagination  and dream state made up that accident?
Which one are you... Fill me in on Blogger and Twitter if you are interested. :)

PLANTING IS LIKE WRITING

Yesterday my fiance and I put our greenhouse together. A 20 x 10 size greenhouse. Let me tell you I am very excited. :) Where we live, we have a fair amount of cold nights, leading to my very unsuccessful garden. This is the reason for our little project.
Getting back to my direct thoughts...
Only a month ago, I began with nothing but a few seeds and a bag of soil.
I took those seeds: tomatoes, green peppers, pumpkins, sweet pea's. etc. and placed them ever so carefully in the pots of soil. From that moment on I tended to the seeds; watering them, making sure they have a good amount of light, feeding them on occasion and as a result I have an entire table covered in various amounts of veggie plants.
I was sitting the other day, again pondering what I should do next with my YA Fiction book. My plants are right next to my laptop, (because my greenhouse is still under construction), but as I sat there... it dawned on me. If I put the same amount of effort, love, and nurture into my book as I do my plants, I just might get somewhere with my story. LOL :)
A blank computer screen or a blank piece of paper is very curiously the same as those empty pots of soil.
The seeds in which you intend to grow are like the idea's in your mind. The ideas and story wanting very much to escape the depths of the soil (or mind) and reach and grow towards the sun's rays.
In the end,
Both writing and planting, if given the proper nourishment; you can reap wonderful benefits.
A great ending to a great story and abundant garden to brag about :)

Entertaining your audience...

So I went to Shriners Circus today with my family. What a great cause... I try to donate to Shriners Hospital as often as I can. :)
Anywho,
As I sat there watching the elephant acts, clowns, and trapeze artists... I realized something. The people at this event was working diligently to entertain their audience, and was doing a terrific job.
Are we not the same... us writers... we write for the love of the story.
We hope that those people that read our work enjoy our words as much as we did when we wrote them.
In the same way that these performers hoped that their acts were as enjoyable to us as it was to them.
Then, I thought about the advertisement. How did I come across knowing these wonderful performing artists had come to Spokane, and why did I drive an hour to see such acts and pay 15 dollars to watch the two hour show?
Firstly, I was browsing through the newspaper and saw an ad. As small as it was- it caught my attention... leaving me curious as to where the circus was going to be held, the price, and what type of performances were going to be going on.
Beyond the fact that I was bored at home and was looking for something to do for the weekend. LOL
Shriners Circus sold their advertisement and as a result had me inquiring, and searching for more.
All it takes is a consistence amount of advertisement over the big web and the continuous love for what you do, and you may one day have the pleasure to entertain thousands of people with the stories you have created.
Don't give up on your dreams, because if you do, you won't be having as much fun as those circus entertainers were today. :)
I know I'm not giving up. Even if my first book doesn't get the reviews or the publicity, there is always a second, third, fourth and so on and so on.
HAVE FUN WITH YOUR HOBBIES, YOUR PASSION, YOUR DREAMS... IF YOU DON'T ITS JUST WORK. :)

THOUGHTS AND INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES...

Here I am bored at home and instead of writing my novel, I sit pondering what I should do today. Last night I watched Glee(one of my favorite shows), and this morning went for a walk. I think about how I can spend my time... read a book, buy a book, go for a drive, play the Wii, write a short story, write a little in my novel, or just work outside.
But what if you have depression, what occurs when your mind goes into a state of irritation at not wanting to do any of these following things.
I find relief in my writing, creating new idea's and worlds but still find myself lost at times and so I will begin my own uplifting sentence of the week and continue each week with a new uplifting motive. Hopefully those who read this will enjoy and maybe share your own little spirited excerpt. :) .

DO NOT FALL TO THE SORROW or AGITATION LYING WITHIN YOU, but LIVE IN THE WORLD THAT SURROUNDS YOU, FOR THE BEAUTY AND PEACE IT CAN GIVE IS WORTH A THOUSAND PIECES OF GOLD :)

DOWN FALLS

How to over come frizzy hair...
When I was in high school, I was determined to become bleach blond, resulting in plenty of trips to the salone chair where my hair was striped and bleached. Let just say my hair was dry and unmanagable.
Result- I discovered that Vitamin E, Oatmeal, Avacado, and a tsp of Olive Oil did wonders. My hair is now brown and healthy, THANK THE LORD.
As for weight...
Also throughout high school, and a little afterwards, I was overweight. I constantly attempted to lose the pounds, but was unsucessful until...
Result- I discovered that drinking a gallon of water a day, small portions and a mile walk did the trick... I think the water was the main reason I lost all my weight. :)
ADDICTION TO CHOCOLATE-
STILL FIGHTING THIS LOSING BATTLE, ANY SUGGESTIONS?
